ENV 009 — Monolith Valley
Overview
Cinematic sci-fi environment with a glowing uranium cube, fog-filled forest hills, and a distant monolith structure. Built procedurally in Houdini Solaris.
Challenge
Build a large-scale environment with atmospheric depth while keeping the uranium cube readable as the focal point.
Approach
Assembled terrain, vegetation, and architecture in Solaris with layered fog passes, USD material libraries, and Karma lighting for cinematic mood.
Outcome
Delivered a hero still and a viewport-to-final breakdown showing the full procedural pipeline from scene graph to final render.
